The initiative Heritage Walk by SAMPARC NGO ( https://samparc.org ) was started in the year 2016, with a vision to create awareness about the conservation and maintenance of Indian Heritage monuments and boost the livelihood of local villagers through tourism (CSR Activities sanctioned under Schedule VII of the Companies Act). Our mission is to enlist the heritage sites of Bhaje, Karla, Bedse Caves, Visapur , and Lohagad Fort (near Lonavala) in the UNESCO Heritage list. Since 2016, we have witnessed increased participation every year in the Heritage Walk due to the growing popularity and awareness of the need to protect our Heritage Monuments. Around 7000 corporate people, students, individuals, and families participate in the walk every year. The event is ideal for your esteemed organization to promote CSR activity on creating awareness about the maintenance and conservation of Heritage Sites among your employees. At the same time, the event will also help in boosting the livelihood of local villagers by promoting the site through tourism.
